Like of the day: The Kooks - Violet Hill (Cover)
First off, it starts off so much more interesting than the original. In fact, scratch that - the whole thing is better than the original. Luke (the vocalist) does his signature (or at least how I know it’s him) not-exactly-singing-to-the-correct-key singing. But I think that makes it more interesting. His voice also expresses some pain, whereas Chris Martin can’t always. There’s also a kickass violin part.
